Glen Beck, a conservative opinion pundit with a show on CNN, aired an hour show dealing with extremist Muslims. He showed some of the crap that airs on Iranian television. They have TV programs about Israeli doctors harvesting the eyes from palestinian children (presumably for transplants) and about the "blood libel" that claims Jews bake their passover matzo with blood from Christians. Considering this is state-run television and considering the Iranian president's threats against Israel, I call bullshit on everyone in this forum who says they're not antisemitic.

Extremist "muslims" don't think too highly of christianity either. Or buddhism. The Taliban did destroy those two ancient buddhas. *nod*

I saw an "expert" claiming that Iran was the biggest state sponsor of islamic terrorism in the world.

I honestly don't believe a word Glen Beck says. All his shit is just a little to well acted out like its some sort of mind game. He's not a crusader, he's a liar. I'm not calling him a responsible journalist, but the clips from Iranian TV that he showed were very antisemitic. You can certainly argue with Glen's points of view, but the video evidence against Iran is pretty damning.

Yeah, nor would I argue that Iran isn't anti semetic. I would agree with the fact that the Irainian gov. is shit and should be destroyed. But I have a distaste for Glenn Beck and the way he reports.

I know Glenn Beck's an idiot, but what did he say about Islam besides that the Iranian government's a bunch of assholes? The most outrageous thing I remember him saying went something like "Liberals oppose tax cuts because they want to fund social programs, and social programs are socialist, and socialism is just a step between capitalism and communism." Also, he tried to argue that, of the 600,000+ deaths in Iraq, 69% were not committeed by Americans or the coalition. Guess what? That means 31% were, and that's close to 200,000 deaths. That's like trying to justify the Holocaust by saying Stalin killed more people.

Basically, he thinks there's a massive liberal conspiracy to make the GOP look bad. I only saw him because I was at a restaurant where he was on. Despite his idiocy, I was still able to eat.
