would you think it odd?

If you've been dating someone for a bit more than a month and they just wanted to spend their birthday with you?

I haven't been dating this guy too long and my birthday's coming up and most of my friends aren't around here anymore, so I really think that I just want to go to a movie or get something to eat and spend time with him. I am a little concerned that he'll think it's odd that I just want to spend time with him.

Doesn't sound odd to me. I say go for it.

Ok, good.

I just kinda keep thinking of the Seinfeld episode where he went out with that woman on her birthday. Though in that instance it was a first date so I guess it's a bit different...

My ex-husband and I started dating about a month before his 19th birthday. We went to a party at his parents house. First time I met them. Went well.

I did practically the same thing only a week after dating one of my exes. Haha.

I wouldn't mind one bit.
It does not seem abnormal.

Dakini, what's with all these insecure "is this weird?" threads? You're a fucking man eater. Do whatever you feel like, and even if it is weird, you seem to have a persistant and enthusiatic male following nonetheless. Just enjoy it. jeesh.

(and happy B-day)

Yes, but I like this one and it would be nice to keep him around, so keeping weirdness to a minimum early on seems like a good plan. There are only so many smart, funny and cute boys out there. :P

Thank you very much. :)

Isn't spending time with him normally what you do with your boyfriend?

Well, up until the 'ex' part, presumably. :p

Shit I think it odd that you would find that odd, and that you would hit the net for advice from total strangers!
