And the wife has made Bison Chili for dinner- its really delicious.
The meat is lean, high in protein and very flavorful.
Home made cornbread on the side, made with coarsley ground cornmeal.
I'm looking foward to dinner now.
How about you ? Whats got your mouth watering?

Poached salmon for me. Unfortunately, all I have to go with it is an apple, since my ruffage seems to have vanished from my refrigerator.

If Im lucky I'll be eating on one of my freinds at Jack-In-the-Box. If Im not lucky, I'll be eating microwaved chili from a can with bread I keep in the fridge because my dorm has cockroaches.

I'm going to have a Salisbury steak TV dinner. It comes with a brownie, green beans, and mashed potatoes, but I don't like the way the green beans that come with it taste, and I don't like mashed potatoes in general.
I'm so hungry right now.

My supper was a take out sandwich from Tim Hortens because I didn't feel like cooking.
And ew! Bison? o_O; Ick! Sounds about as gross as 'kangeroo loins'... (and yes, that is a *REAL* menu option at a restaurant less tha a block from where I live).

a loin chop is one of the best cuts of meat (they're not actually chopping off the 'roo's knob and serving it up on a plate (i hope)). well on some animals anyway. and kangaroo is yummy. and bison are just big, fluffy cows.
Not sure yet. I went to the grocery store yesterday so I have lots of options. Right now though I'm thinking that lasagne and a green salad will go nicely with the tiramisu I made two days ago and a bottle of chianti.

I haven't the money to buy decent ingredients to make real food, so I'll just go ghetto gourmet and nuke a chimichanga with some sour cream and ranch dressing.
Of course, I do have the money for good ingredients, but I'm saving it for an Explorer guitar, an amp, and a good distortion pedal. :p

I'm had take out chinese food. We (my family) ordered dumplings, fried half chicken, broccoli with extra rice. Doritos for desert.
Speaking of nasty menu items, I saw a resturant with guinea pig on the menu.

I made dinner for my mom. What I made was:
grilled T-bone steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. She said it was the best dinner she's ever had, and everyone else liked it. So I guess I did good. :D

I scavenged bits of food while I was at work (I work at KFC). I absolutely hate KFC, but if I'm not paying for it I'll eat it.

Didn't cook yesterday because I was feeling just awful.
But today, I'm going to make grilled chicken breast in a sour cream/white wine sauce with leeks and buttom mushrooms, with spirelli pasta. And some salad.
And carrot cake for dessert. :D

Kangaroo is good & the "loin" doesn't mean its knob.

We do that at least once a week with any left over meat or vegetables- I make some fried rice with egg, corn and peas, then stir fry leftover beef or chicken with some broccoli/peppers and teryaki sauce.
We dont waste any food here.

Take out the beef or chicken and that sounds great. I generally don't have leftovers. I buy veg from a market on a Monday, and it sees me through the week. I rarely have anything left by Sunday.
I also prefer to make up my own sauces (do you make your own teriyaki?) - I'll cook up various different ones on a weekend, then use them as and when I feel like it.
