Anyone else have a dream house?

I have a dream house. Literally. It is this huge mansion with columns on a huge rear porch facing a river usually and the sea for the first time last night. The most exceptional thing is a huge many roomed basement and a huge attic with antique winches and pully systems that seem to be for the purpose of storing flour.

I also had another large dream house back when I was dating an exgirlfriend with lots of little turrets or gables that made the attic have lots of wierd shaped ceilings and small little impractical rooms. I do not dream about this place since I left her and started with the girl who became my wife. I bet there is some connection with the houses I dreamed about and the special ladies i my life but I dont know and dont really care, I just love it when I dream about my dream house.

I also have a dream camping spot with a general store, RV park, small hotel/lodge, and recently it also had an amusement park and lots of housing nearby within hiking distance. I love my recurring dream places. Do you have any? Please share them.

Do other peoples beds count as a recurring dream place?

What I was trying to get at is a place that only exists in your dreams and that you have dreams where you are at this place and have memories from when you were there in past dreams. So if you have a dream that you are in a bed that is say in a room or house that you go to in your dreams but does not really exist, then yes.

well I once had a reoccurring dream where I was on a cargo plane fighting the joker, riddler and penguin with cat woman helping me

Unfortunately the plane crashed just after a jumped out with the last parachute so that’s how cat woman ended for me:( (I miss being 8)

 You made a floor plan for your dream house?! Wow. Does this mean you plan to have it built some day?

I don't really have a dream house. I do want my home to have a nice large, well-equipped kitchen and a big bathtub, but nothing specific other than that.

three quarters of the way up a canyon wall is a cave 40 feet deep and 30 feet high.

there is a tunnel out the back leading to ground level.

the cave opens west, and just to the south of the opening is a spire with a walkway leading from the opening to a balcony built around the spire.

the floor inside the cave is poured concrete with limestone tiling (taken from the local area, and rough cut)

the inside of the house is devoid of walls, though there is an upper level built along the north wall that acts as a bedroom and/or work area. I might just put the bed next to the fire)

a firepit is built directly into the center of the floor, and the cave opening is left completely open to the canyon outside (though there is a railing)

you can sit at the fire and look out at the sunset over the desert.

I didn't, someone else did. It's a dome house, it will be completely self sufficient, and as soon as I find suitable land I will build it. They look something like this on the outside. http://califbldrs.com/imagescont/dome%20house2.jpg

haha, I have to forgo the big tub if I go with my dome house, they waste too much energy.

we watch a ton of movies, so no windows in the living room = no glare and you know energy reasons......

Looks like that, but the windows go right to the ground, and there's a porch on the second floor with a fireplace that can be used inside and outside.

I have the entire house planned out in my head.

Impressive. What do you mean by completely self sufficient?

I don't have a dream house, but I do have recurring dream places that resemble a combination of school(s) and a crypt/fortress-like place. Easy to get lost in. Last time, it had this main stone hallway, going down, with steps. For a long, long time. With doors on one side, opening up to classrooms and other less-definable rooms. Going down, you eventually wound up... at this mountain-top, a precipice.

Smunkeeville,

A round house is fascinating and probably pretty efficient for heating and cooling. Is this a house that you visit or live in during your dreams or is this a house that you really think is nice?

I had a dream about owning a round house, and we grew our own veggies, and made our own water from rain harvesting, and had solar power, the next day I woke up and started searching the web for that type of house, after about a year I found that one that I linked to ^^ up there, and we are looking for land to build it on.

Are you aware that you are dreaming when you are in this building? If so, try to jump off the mountain. I jumped off something like that in a dream (I knew I was dreaming and it would be safe but it was still scary at first and building up the courage to do it). When I jumped it felt like I was freefalling and then I saw myself sleeping and sort of fell like a feather and then turned around and went into my sleeping body and "woke up" and got a shower and got ready for class and told my friends about how cool my dream was and then I woke up for real.

I have a dream house. It sits in a field of roses, but I can't describe it here because DCD hasn't finished The Dark Tower VII yet. ;)
