Yoo-Hoo and nesquick are both disgusting. I prefer good ol' fashioned chocolate milk.

hot chocolate added. And I like the REAL stuff -- cocoa powder and sugar added to hot milk. Not some lame "just add water" mix.

chocolate milk so my nails don't get white bits (though strawberry milk is far superior)

And chocolate soda:confused:

Ditto for me, as well. Nothing beats one solid cup of hot milk (measured), three teaspoons of Droste cocoa, and two tablespoons of pure cane sugar.

Perfect.

Some people leave out the milk and just use hot water. Personally, I think that when you do that it just tastes like water.

Yoohoo is the best drink...apparently only on the east coast.

I used to drink Yoo-hoo a lot, but I realised that there were much better things in life than that mucous-building drink.

And I've never even heard of Chocolate Soda. Weird. Wild.

Instant Breakfast is great, but it's a smidge expensive. I go for Rich Chocolate Ovaltine instead, because it has the same taste (though it's a bit richer), and it has even more vitamins and minerals. You also get more per ounce for the price.

Nah, I just discussed it with my boyfriend (Californian born and bred) and he claims this is yet another icon of American culture that I managed to miss out on. He had no clue what chocolate soda was though.

Well, compared to the real chocolate milk that you can make with pure cocoa and sugar, sure. But, it's really good for you (especially with whole milk), and it tastes good enough.

For the price, it's great... But still, nothing compares to home-made stuff.

Heh, if Yoo-hoo didn't cause so much mucous buildup, I'd buy it more often.

It was such a tough choice between hot chocolate and chocolate milk...

Although had you put up a chocolate milkshake... well, there would really only be one clear choice.

Eh, I can drink a huge glass of milk and eat a pint of ice cream and not get as much mucous as I do when I drink a bottle of Yoo-hoo.

Though I haven't had Yoo-hoo in ages, so it might not be that way with me now.

Mmm... good point. Triple thick chocolate milkshake in the summer. Hot chocolate with milk and cocoa and sugar in the winter. Maybe just plain chocolate milk if it's about the right temperature. Any of the three work, though, so long as we're not doing Nesquick or Yoo-hoo or fakey mix "cocoa".

Aw... no you don't. Chocolate milkshakes could qualify as desserts more than drinks if you want to be technical about it.

Yes, I actually put Altoids in my drinks. xD

Its got to be Hot Chocolate made with milk and so much chocolate powder that the spoon stands up on its own. :D

Seeing as I don't drink and can't stand tea or coffee at all, its the only thing open for me.

The one sad thing is though, is that I can't have a proper milk hot chocolate as the milk would take up to much room in the fridge (which I have to share with 4 other people) so I have to make to with strong watery ones topped up with a little milk. :(
