I don't like unhealthy skinniness. A healthy skinny, the kind that means you're in shape and you work out is okay and far preferable to anorexic.

As for me...I weigh about 245 and I'm built like a sprinter. If that doesn't mean anything to you, I'll lay it out more clearly: I'm approximately 65 pounds overweight for my body type.

Being able to see ribs normally does indicate a woman is unhealthy.

In very few cases can you see ribs if the woman is healthily slim.

That's less of a rule and more of a median. Some folks are better with 10 pounds per inch and some with less than 5. We's all diff'nt.

There is a fair bit of difference in the builds in that 1.5 difference.

I am not sure exactly what your build is like (athletic, bone structure, build) but in general ribs are not be a prominent feature in healthy women.

This does not mean that you are unhealthy - but in a lot of cases pronounced ribs as demonstrated in some of the pictures here are not a healthy build. There are of course exceptions.

I hate really super skinny girls too. I am not saying that just being able to see ribs makes them underweight but if you can see a lot of ribs, then yes. Also, if they are 6'0 and their upper arm is as big around as your wrist, its kind of gross.

I don't like unhealthy skinniness. A healthy skinny, the kind that means you're in shape and you work out is okay and far preferable to anorexic.


You can eat healthily and still have your rib cage showing it might be the right weight for you (meaning you'd have to be less healthy to gain wieght) so it's not nessicairily underweight
