Possible part of a story...

Well, most of you know that I'm writing, like, five million stories, one of which is the Rhiannon Bailey Trilogy. I haven't gotten far with this, but I've got a potential snippit.
For those of you who don't know what the RBT is about, it's about a girl named Rhiannon who was bullied as a kid and in middle school she gets basically shunted aside.. well, that's what happens in the first book. So, here's a little piece of that.

**begin snippet**
I looked out the bedroom window. Clouds were illuminated by the full moon. It was hard to see the stars. The wind whispered through the trees. Rain was coming.
It wasn't the first time I'd felt so depressed. I'd felt this way back in Juniper, at the Christian school I went to up there. Nothing seemed right up there. There was always something missing and everyone had it and I never did.
I didn't miss Juniper Christian Academy at all. God was incorporated into everything. If you got good grades, God smiled. If you hung out with the right people, God wanted to give you a big old bear hug. If you knew how to deal with every problem the right way, God gave you a pat on the back.
Their Bible verses confused me. Everyday it was John 3:16. Apparently the whole Bible was about having faith in God through the tough times. I didn't have faith. It's probably why God seemed to ignore me.
The Candace family was well-known at Juniper Baptist. Bill Candace was a youth pastor. Stephie, Seth, and Chloe were very popular. They were known as good Christians who had strong faith in the Lord and so were blessed. Everybody was happy at Juniper Christian. Everybody except me. They all had good faith in the Lord. I didn't. Stephie tormented the crap out of me- everyone else either gagged on me or ignored me. God was apparently on their side. And they said He was a loving God.
I looked out the window again. Maybe God would want to be on my side now. Would He? After all, I never had much faith in Him. Or maybe He just wasn't listening. Ah well, worth a shot.
God, are you there? Nothing. More whispers from the trees.
Can you help me? A dog barked in the distance.
Were you really on Stephie Candace's side? Clouds moved in, blockign the moon and stars.
I'm sorry I never believed in You. Do You accept my apology? The wind picked up.
Are you even there? A few seconds passed, then rain started to fall, blurring up my window. Was this a sign from God, or was He ignoring me? The neighbor's porch light cut on.
God, are you listening to me? Are you there? Can You hear me? Water trickled down my window, the light shining on it. It looked like tears. Did God push me aside again?

Not bad, Pancake dear. You have talent. If these are ever made into a movie can I have one of the male roles? ;)

If you enjoy stories, go to I.I. or Nationstates forums and roleplay.
