Brooks and Dunn were at the Ford Amphitheatre in Tampa last night. This was the first concert I ever went to. They were awesome as expected. Jack Ingram and Sugarland were the special guests.
Ronnie and Kix were excellent. Has anybody else seen them live in concert?
What other concerts have people been to?

I went to V this year to see Radiohead/Bloc Party. They were amazing!

I ended up getting 4 free tickets on the 3rd row. I had to earn the tickets, though. a few days before the concert I was driving to work in the early am hours listening to WQYK Tampa Bay's Country (99.5 FM)and they told the listeners to be the 9th caller. I couldn't believe that they actually answered. They asked me what I'm doing on Friday (11/10/06) I told them nothing it's my day off. They said come to the station be there at 7:30 AM for a chance to win tickets to Brooks and Dunn by competing in the Hillbilly Olympics.
Well, I did lousy in the first few events. 1st event was playing horseshoes but instead of having horseshoes we had to throw toilet seats. I always sucked at horse shoes. :headbang:
2nd event we had to toss WQYK Rita's magnets on a refrigerator door that had a tape circle. Had to get the magnet within the circle. Lousy again. :headbang:
3rd event was tossing frisbees with cowpatties on them through a fairly small tire. (No worries, they had fake cow patties. My last toss the dang thing went in the hole and then bounced out. Man was I pissed. Once again Lousy. :headbang:
I think I was in last place at this point. :mad: I was determined though. I knew I had to do something to make up for my losses. :confused:
4th event was to bob for pigs feet. Oh yes. They were real too. They put 10 pigs feet in a tub with some water and we had a time limit to see how many we could get out without using our hands. Boy did I kick ass. It was a short time limit but I ended up getting 8 out, almost had the ninth. I tied for 1st in that event. I wished I could have gotten that ninth one out. :D
and finally the 5th event. I knew I had to get atleast 1st. We had to eat as many pickled eggs as we could within one minute. I again tied that event for first. Afterwards, I gave it some hard thought on a better technique because that damn yolk slowed me down from being the sole 1st place of the event. Next time, I think I'll be able to pull it off. :D
Ultimately, I came in 3rd place and was awarded the Bronze Copenhagen Medal with a Red, White, and Blue to wear around my neck and 4 3rd Row seats.:) A truly amazing concert.
