Who will win the MLS Cup 2006?

New England Revolution faces off against Houston Dynamo at 1530EST on ABC. So who will win?

I say Revs! :D

*Please don't bash what little of this great sport we get...

I can sympathise with you. The domestic competition here, the A-League, is just getting off the ground. It's nowhere near up to the standards of the top European leagues, but I still enjoy the games anyway (Melbourne Victory FC for the championship this year! :) ).

I hope it's a good final & your team wins. :)

Yeah, although the A-League is doing very well for it's second season.

And I'm rooting for Houston Dynamo, because they're an Dynamo.

Hey Boony, you gonna go to the Sydney game in a couple of weeks?
Cannot think of a name

Earthquakes! I mean, Dynamo...I mean, I should stop pretending I've been following MLS like I didn't just look up what's been going on with the Earthquakes...what the hell? Spartan stadium is a good stadium, land is expensive in the Bay Area and I mean cripes, even the 49ers can't get a stadium built here. Anyway, I'll root for the 'Quakes in spirit...

Go Sydney!

I think the San Jose Earthquake or whatever a team is called is going to win it this year...

Probably, I've been to a few games this season & really enjoyed them. I went to the game against Perth on Thursday, it was awesome when Brebner scored the winner with about 5 minutes to go. The whole crowd leapt to their feet as one.

The Redbull didn't make it? I'll have to cheer for Revs, I guess.

Is it true that all of the "clubs" in the MLS are all just franchises owned by the league?

I hate Red Bull. They're the local team, but they were bought and named after some nasty drink.

I don't know, but I wouldn't rule it out. considering we only have 12 teams in a country that could have 2-3 leagues, maybe 4...each with 15+ teams.

Are you kidding, they're hilarious!! They're like the joke team of the joke league.

"I'm a Red Bull fan"
"What, you like the drink?"
"No the soccer team"
"WTF?"

And Red Bull gives you wings! (which those ex-metrostars need, apparently)

Melbourne-Sydney is always the best, though; it's the Carlton-Collingwood of the A-League.

Definitely. They're the two biggest clubs, the traditonal Melbourne-Sydney rivalry. It should be a top game.

That would have been sweet. I hope the next match gets a similar turnout.
