So, how often do you change your clothes?

Can a person go more than one day without changing clothes during the week? Can a person go more than two days without changing clothes on a weekend?

Gee, if we didn't have to wear clothes we wouldn't have to wash them.

I usually change before/after I get out of bed, and after/before working out at the gym. So... pretty often. Its all about the hygiene.

I regularly change my clothes, sometimes as much as twice a day. I like the feeling of clean cotton, and do my best to embrace it.

Depends on which article of clothing we're talking about. Underwear, socks, and t-shirt; I change those daily, if not twice because I have practice. Pants stay on for longer, and sweaters a bit less so.

I change my shirt everyday but I've been known to wear a single pair of pants for 9 days straight before washing it. I usually spray fabric freshener on it though. Not a bachelor, just a college student.

I change when I shower. Which is every night from Sunday to Thursday, for most of the year.

During the summer, I can go for days without changing or showering...

I usually rotate some clothes over the week in other words I leave them on the floor and pick a selection every 2 days

Twice a day during the work week, once a day on the weekends. Not at all when I'm sick.

So, give the "ripe" clothes to the Salvation Army or Goodwill. Then go back a couple of days later and buy them back.

Army. Survival training, a week with a knife and an uncooked can of soup. It sucked.

I wear PJ's around the house most days, I wear those 2 days in a row, if I leave the house I put on "real clothes" and then change back into my PJ's as fast as I can when I get back.

I tend to wear my jeans twice before washing them unless they get really dirty, they always feel better the second time around, more lived in I guess.

I change under clothes everyday....

I almost never wear socks, they annoy me, the seams get me distracted, and they never wear exactly the same so the difference bothers me. I have been working on wearing mismatched socks for my OCD though, to get used to the discomfort so that I can better control my compulsions.

Every week day.

And on weekends when I go out.

If you are washing each item of clothing after being worn once without them being dirtied up from sweat, or any other bodily fluid, mud, grease etc etc you must think you yourself as nasty or you have some sort of OCD. Especially pants. Underwear.. a given, socks a given.. but pants? Good way to wear your clothes out.. unless ofcourse you are using woolite and handwashing.

That I actually like? ... 1. Have many more, but can't wait to take the things off when I get home.

I only have two pairs of cargo pants and a pair of recently discovered 'fancy pants.'

But the rest of the things I change pretty regular unless I'm not doing anything, then I don't change things for days. Then I feel like a hermit/sadsack so I take a shower and get shower hypnosis. Shower hypnosis is actually kind of cool...

lol socks! White cotton here.. only way to go.. One thing that does need changing frequently, even if you use powder to keep em 'fresh n clean'... when you work hard for long stints of time or are working out...gotta change them socks. ..

It's when you don't realize how long you've been standing face first in the stream with you your hands in your hair until the water gets cold.

Daily. Unless I play sport or go for a run, in which case I'll have a shower & put on clean clothes.

Edit: I'll usually wear the same pair of trousers (saves on washing & ironing) to work for four days (Friday is casual say), but I wear a clean shirt, socks & undies each day.

Every day. Sometimes twice.

However, when I was in the US Army and we were out in the field it was often far less than that. When we first got to Iraq (April 2003) we were getting only 2 1.5 liter bottles of water a day. Being a Michigan boy I don't deal with the heat all that well, so I (and pretty much everyone else) decided that drinking said water took priority over anything else with it. We had a supply of baby wipes to "bathe" with, but with only three uniforms over the course of a month they all got a bit nasty. And by a bit nasty I mean "stands up on its own" nasty. In some cases that was literally, a buddy of mine was able to stand his DCU top up on it's own after it dried out one day when we came back from a patrol. It gets kinda warm in that body armor.
