The young Maria Theresia. I remember finding her portrait in a textbook and I actually stopped and just looked at it for a few minutes. I was around 17 then, I think im too old to be allowed to be attracted to that portrait now.

Why only 1500? I would have included Ragnar Lundbrek if you'd let me go back to 1000.

Henry VIII was quite dashing.

Isabella of Spain, Elizabeth of England...uhhhh...this isn't something I think on very often...Ah yes. Isabella, who was proud of the fact she'd only had two baths in her life, at her birth and at her marraige.
Haven't thought of five, but Alexander Hamilton and Thomas Jefferson for a start.

Come on, he will rule a country! Even if he is a bit plain and short of stature, being a head of state (and rich of course) has to count for a lot! Doesn't wealth take 10 years off a guy?

Don't know if I got the right time periods but, Lady Godiva, Cleopatra, Marie Antionette, St. Joan of Arc. and that's about it.

I adore cleopatra - she was a genius who spoke 9 languages and nearly turned her country from a vassal state to the most important one in the world. she was, unfortunately, too short, had a large nose, and was not particularly attractive. her legendary beauty is part of a slander campaign started in ancient rome to explain how she did anything. they couldn't admit she was a fantastic leader, so they assumed she seduced roman men, who did everything for her. she was one of the greatest geniuses ever to live, and her "beauty" had nothing to do with her success at all...largely because she wasn't particularly beautiful.

erm...I can't think of a sexy dead person. all the world leaders who come to mind killed people and were horrific snobs...I wouldn't want to be anywhere near any of them.
