Some Albinos are more noticeable than others. Are you of the red-eyed variety? Theres an Albino at my school, but his eyes are unaffected, he just looks like a really white guy with even whiter hair.

This post explains what I was thinking.
I have icy white hair, and since I was too stupid too wear sunscreen all my life, my skin is covered in pink streaks. And yes, my eyes are red. The dfinition is someone with lack of pigment in hair, skin and eyes. You can be REALLY white, have blond hair and blue eyes, and not be albino.

yes, use the special powers. instil fear in your fellow man/woman/either. make them fear their prejudices and respect your interestingness. see, i'd love to have done this but the only thing people fear about gingers is their temper, and i was always small, weak and meek at school so that never worked. albinos are always the slightly dangerous and ever so mysterious ones. and you have a superpower too. you have the advantage.

I don't know. I know I'm pale like one and I burn like one, but I've never been told by anyone I'm an albino.
But I wouldn't worry about it. Me, I think albinos are cool. Think about it: white skin, red eyes, you're awesome!

people actually care about it? that's rediculous - the only thing I've ever heard as far as a stigma attatched to albinism was that native americans thought albino animals were highly blessed...it's really stupid that other people would give you a hard time about that. I always thought having white hair would be cool.

Right you are. Believe me, white hair is no fun. Either are red eyes and being mistaken for a ghost. Unless your emo, then youd like it. =P Anways, there are alot of reasons for beinga social outcast. I myself, an a complete dork, therefore socially inactive. If that makes ya feel better.

I know OF one, but we were in different social circles in college. Seemed like an okay guy. Hung around with others. Watched Quantum Leap in the student union building. Never climbed a clock tower with a high powered rifle.
I don't see what the big deal is. :p
