Having gone through a Spider-Man phase as a teenager, I like the current movie series a lot even if I'm a grown man.

It looks good! Though not as good as the first two, somehow, I think.
But eh, I'm still going to watch it. And it has Topher Grace, so how bad can it possibly be? :p

well, harry did become the Green Goblin in the comics...
I like the twist of making Sandman the mugger who killed Ben Parker. tho I thought he died falling out the window? Maybe not since there was no call for spiderman's arrest for that "Murder"
and the appearance of Venom... it's origin in the movie should be interesting...

Who here doesn't like the idea that guy-who-was-to-be-Sandman is the killer of Uncle Ben? They should have stuck with with Mr. Anonymous thug and have Parker go down the dark path of revenge for some other reason.

I'm holding out hope that this guy isn't really the guy who killed Uncle Ben, but Parker is led to believe that and pursues revenge as a result. Then, perhaps, he'll find out they were wrong and he'll feel very guilty and that's when he goes to the bell tower.

It looks good to me! That Harry would be hobgoblin was established through the comics years ago, so no suprise there. Im going to love seeing how they do sandman with the graphics they have available.
I really want to see Peter turn into full-on Venom though. With the teeth and eyes and tongue and all that.

Three villians seems like Batman syndrome, making the mistake of making the film about the villians and not the hero. Villians are very important, but it's hard to tell their story and the heroes story in the same movie. And just because it's the heroes third movie doesn't mean you can push him off to co-star and develop three villians. Granted, Green Goblin II is a story that's been building up since the first Spiderman, but still.
Though the way the trailer seems, it almost looks like their just setting up Venom for the next movie more than they are introducing him as a villian straight up.
I don't like Sandman being the actual killer. Too contrived.
But I am still all over this movie. I'm such a huge Spiderman fan that I would have watched it if it was just some misshapen guy in a loose fitting suit singing the theme. Sometimes I can be such a tool...

I'm going to find it that Venom's alter ego is Eric Foreman.
