Didn't want to post in the old thread, as I didn't know if it would be gravedigging a bit too much.

As you can see, since we last spoke, two new cities have been named. Lookout actually isn't a city, and when I went to the spot on Google Earth there's nothing there.

Anyways, I pinned each of the spots on Google Earth and zoomed out. They are all in the same spots as they are on the website. Woodward is in the east. Lookout in the north. Bitter springs in the east. They even form the same triangle. Now this is a bit premature, but with the fourth city it seems that the middle of the square which will be created seems to be at a highway 285 in northern New Mexico. If you have Google Earth, open it up and look at the area I'm talking about.

Can anybody in NSG give me any information about the place? I'm looking right now, but can't find shit. The bright orange may mean volcanos, but I'm doubtful.

The part that pisses me off is that I'm basing my NaNoWriMo novel on Eon8...and this one just pops up and makes it look like I'm copying it. :(

That is a discussion board trying to "solve" the site. After much sleuthing and puzzle-busting, they found out that it's an ARG (alternate reality game) that was poorly made and released prematurely. It may have some ultimate meaning, but for now they figure that the creators have been unexpectedly outwitted and are making things up as they go along.

Another update. The middle of the cities seems to be a town known as Taos. I've created another thread in the search for information about the town. The wiki page says something about a strange phenomenon that occurs there. It's a low-frequency sound with no discernable source and who's nature is unknown. We may be on something big here... If only I was older and had a car... I could go there...
