Well Thanksgiving is just around the corner, so what are y'all plan? I actually plan on going up to Penn. with Leah to see her family, that's about it really, also while we're up there we're going ghost hunting (she's a big Paranormal nut) so how about you guys? What are your thanksgiving plans?

Have you met her family before? :p

We'll be joining in the huge annual food-fest at the house of the brother-in-law with the most room. It'll be mind-boggling and I won't get leftovers to take home for the second year in a row.

Seeing as there is no such holiday, you should not be shocked to find I have no plans for it.

Thanksgiving was great. I went to visit the in-laws and I got to ride one of those little mini-motorcycles.

Of course, this all happened last month.

Tomorrow night a local support group for celiac is having a gluten free Thanksgiving dinner and I am the guest speaker, so I get to eat there, next Saturday my NaNoWriMo group is having a Thanksgiving potluck and write-in, on the actual day of Thanksgiving we are having a Thanksgiving brunch with my family, a Thanksgiving lunch with hubby's family, Thanksgiving dinner with just us and the kids, going black friday shopping the next day and then eating leftovers from my mom's dinner that we are missing.

I think I might be sick of Turkey soon.

Did I mention that next Thursday at work we are having a Thanksgiving potluck as well? :p

We don't have Thanksgiving. I'm told by Wiki that the closest thing to it is the Harvest festival, which isn't so much a celebration as a take-a-tin-of-baked-beans-to-church-for-the-poor sort of affair.

We have a friend who raises Turkeys and another who raises chickens, as for the duck? I sent out fearless leader to get me one, luckily he hunted, cleaned and de-feathered it before he brought it home....I can clean fish, but poultry is mighty messy you know?

it's actually quite good. It's a mess to make yourself though especially starting with fresh birds like I did.

If you can it's better to just buy it and cook it.........not that I can though.

Remember kids, you can crush it, snort it, swallow it whole-- but never give candy to starving homeless people!

Nap some more.
Watch Football.
Eat even more.

All the while, of course, ignoring my relatives to the best of my ability...
