I'd never even heard he was ill.

I'd never even heard he was ill.
Neither did I.
Apparently, it was a secret they didn't want to emphasise. Still, he'll be missed.

65 is way too damned young.
They sure kept that a secret, I've never heard even a hint of a problem.

Remember to mourn the deaths of people in media, kids, because they are more important than you!
He'd lost a lot of weight. I certainly had noticed that.
But I didn't know he was dying.

Dont mistake me with someone that gives a shit.
It wakes you up though, when someone with money and influence dies at an early age. When their dough and power couldnt help them.
If it killed him, it can kill me.
Thats my concern.

People I don't know die every day. At least the people in the media are people of whom I am specifically aware.

Oh, sorry. Remember to mourn the death of people in media and the rich, kids, because they are more important than you!
Better?
I think it's sad... He was a good journalist in my view, and did a lot of good.
His insight will be missed.

Oh grow up. Ever occur to you that people are mourning his death because he was a human being and most of us hate to see people die early?
