This is the funniest thing I have seen in a long, long time!

Saturday night's show "Wetten, daß..." ("I'll betcha!") had this one in store:

The bet: The guy with glasses has to recognize the song the two guys in blue shirts hear on their headphones and express via their pecs.
It looks stupid at first, but when the song is playing... priceless!

Reason for edit: Found a vid with better quality. It's about a minute longer in the beginning, but therefore complete.

No. Germans do that just for fun. (I honestly don't know what they do for a living. It's not mentioned in the clip and I didn't watch the original broadcast.)

I am somewhat dissapointed at the live audience in that video. It would have been the greatest moment in TV history had everyone involved been doing it with grim seriousness.

I think you're finally getting a hold of the concept of the show.

You could say "I bet that you can't find 'X' number of bald monks in long, brightly-colored robes to show up at the end of the show, singing song 'Y'". If the audience decides that this would be the "Audience bet", then the host would have to accept. He'd then ask all the monks watching the show to come to the studio (if they can make till the end of the show).
