* just got in the mail an autographed copy of a hot new book (more on that later...)

Maine; don't twist Dylan. He was talking about youth rebellion against 'the man' as it were, and a societal change. Not Democrats beating Republicans. Or at least, that's how I like to think of it... and hope that my favourite musician wasn't writing a song in support of the Democratic party.

Honestly, I hope that the Democrats can manage to govern decently, and I hope that the next two years don't become a bloody fight between the Executive and the Legislature. THAT would suck more than anything, because paralyzed governments suck even more than one-party governments. America is so polarized right now that I could imagine that sort of thing happening, and I might move to England if it does.
