A few months ago, I had a dream. It was one of those vague, short ones; I was the leader of an empire called Elam, and it stretched from western France to western Ukraine. I didn't think anything of that dream.

Then I whacked "Elam" into Wikipedia, and got this (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elam).

The thing is, I didn't know anything about that Elam. Never read or heard about it.

I go to sleep listening to old time radio plays, which gives me some messed up dreams.

Meh, its not very creepy at all. Firstly, its not like 'Elam' is a particularly unusual set of of phonemes, if you remembered the Empire of Farahazidjikor-moktolomonoi, and that turned out to be a real entity (that actually corresponded to what you dreamt about it) then THAT would be creepy. But 'Elam', that's the kind of name that would probably pop into anyone's head.

I also wouldn't discount the possibility that you subconsciously absorbed information about this Empire. It takes very little prompting for your subconscious to document something - you could literally be standing on one side of a bus stop and subconsciously absorb the conversation of two archeologists at the other end, talking about the Elamite Empire. And you would be entire unaware.
