TV shopping.

Well I was just wondering how many people on NS buy things off either TV shopping networks, or infomercials. I must admit I haven't done it yet, but I came close once. While pulling off an all nighter a few months back, I saw an infomercial for a set of kitchen knives and such. It wasn't a bad deal. I can't remember who did the commercial now, but it was some guy that does other infomercials.

Anyways, who tv shops, what do you get, and why?

TV shopping? Why would anyone who has the internet do that?

Also those "gone wild" videos suck.

I don't buy from TV ads. Well, I could, but I just don't. Some products are really cool, but most of the mare the type of thing I can see at my state fair every August anyway.

Also, I see 47 commercials for Girls Gone Wild...do you meant to tell me that the same asshole is exploiting guys? At least he's equal opportunity.

If you do, I suggest buying that knife set I was talking about. It was nifty!

I saw an ad for a pet brush at 3:30 a.m. the other morning and almost bought it. Almost.

I got something from an infomercial once. Suprisingly enough, they weren't lying.

Yeah, but thankfully the Girls Gone Wild commercials outnumber the Guys commercials by a very comfortable margin.

I have the Lateral Thigh Trainer. Well, to be honest, I didn't buy it from the phone number that the ad gave; I went online and ordered it from Germany for half the price. But I did it because the ad convinced me to.

I'm going to buy that knife set once I can afford it. Until that, my butter knife and nail scissors will have to do.

By infinity, where I come from. I'd never even heard of Guys Gone Wild. I assume it's the same type of stuff, only with drunken guys...

I couldn't tell you. I've never actually seen the whole commercial. As soon as there are two guys on the beach and the voiceover mentions "guys gone wild" I flip the channel.

My wife does. But usually she doesn't PHONE in the order, but goes to the purveyor's website and orders.

Quite often the $ savings are substantial,.. and then there's always eBay..!

Nope, I've seen plenty of infomercials but never ordered anything. Actually, technically I guess I should say I've heard a lot of infomercials. I occasionally leave them on as background noise that I know won't distract me.
