The usual split ticket.

04-11-2006, 22:47
Lynn Swann and Rick Santorum all the way!

The usual split ticket.

Ditto. Voting for Rell (R) for Governor, Lieberman (D) for Senator, and my dog (Fed me Now! Party) for Town Selectman.

...the dog has the best policies, but the lowest name recognition.

Yes I can and will blame you. You are the one who posted the question and failed to provide appropriate responses. Now, young man/lady, for your transgressions you may go sit in the corner until after the Nov 7th elections. Go to the corner now!

I'm voting for Republicans for local representation and a Democrat for governor, so I guess I don't really fall behind either party especially considering my votes are based on issue stances rather than their party affiliation.

I'm voting yes on a minimum wage hike, legalizing gambling, and a public smoking ban.

04-11-2006, 22:57
Split ticket between Libertarian locally and state-wide and Republican nationally.

04-11-2006, 22:58
Democrat all the way! Lucy Baxley for Governor! Big Jim Folsom for Lt. Gov! Sue Bell Cobb for Alabama, Supreme Court Chief Justice!
Don't have to worry about Bud Cramer for congress. No Republican is stupid enough to run against him so he is on the ballot unopposed! :D

Mostly democrat. Not sure whether or not I'll continue to support republican congressman Chris Smith. Might vote for that Gay chick running against him.

Split ticket, though mostly Democrat and Independent. Only one Republican, and that'll be for Sheriff, Fred Wegener.

Hooray for Aladems (like we have a chance...)!

Who knows? With all the Republicans shooting themselves in the foot as of late... And those ridiculous commercials against Nancy Worley (Secretary of State) and Jim Folsom, just might turn enough Repubilcan stomachs to get the job done!

Surprising, because as we've all seen, there are still an awful lot of tragically stupid Republicans, though their numbers have been dwindling as more and more of them see the light.

Yes it was a poor choice of wording on my part. By saying "stupid" Repulicans I am indicating the possibility of a "smart" Repulican somewhere out there. And for the life of me I can't think of one.

Corrected.

Lieberman has said that he's still a Democrat, so I take him at his word for that. You *know* he'll be "re-admitted to the fold" after he wins on Tuesday. The Hilary/Obama faction may hate him, but they need every vote they can get since it is unlikely that they will gain a majority in the Senate.

Really corrected.

Ah yes, because a guy that's voted with the Democrats 90% of the time is a closet Republican!

I'm sure Bush loves him for his "F" rating by the NRA and the 91% rating he has from the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence. (The CSGV is a wingnut org that wants to disarm citizens).

He also voted against most of the Bush tax plan, but recognised the tax cuts as the engine that has driven the resurgence of the economy. Which is a lot better than idiots like Charles Rangel, who never met a tax he didn't like.

Add on his support for stem-cell research, his attacks on the Bush Medicare plan, voting 75% of the time pro-choice... (that Catholic hospitals should not be forced to do something against their ethics being the majority of his votes against) he had 100% pro-choice voting records in the years 2000, 2001, 2003 and 2004.

Lieberman cosponsored a resolution urging the Congress to reject the Bush Administration Social Security Commission's report.

So, yes, Joe is solidly GOP.

split ticket.

neither party is consistently non-scary around here, they are all pretty extreme, I just have to figure out who is saying they are extreme to get the extreme voters and who really is a nutcase.

Yeah too bad republicans ruined our country.....

In over 35 years of voting, I never once voted straight ticket-----until now.

I think the only way to today get the attention of the government is to hit it in the head with a very large stone. The largest stone I have today is to vote straight democratic all the way down the ticket to dog catcher (if that is on the ballot)

Spoken like a true pundit. Whose POV are you regurgitating, btw?

No one group is the mesiah or the pariah. There is only one party in US politics: the rich. And they are both DEMs and GOP.

I am going to vote almost strait D with a few exceptions on the local side ... There are a few independants that I care for so I will be choosing them
Daverana
06-11-2006, 04:08
Because of how my state treats Independants, I will be voting for a Republican (who is only such in order to get on the ballot) to replace our Democrat Gun Grabbing Tax Raising Governor. But I'll be voting to replace our Republican Blind Bush Supporting Idiot Senator with a Democrat, so it balances out.

In a ironic twist of fate, MeanstoanEnd is dubbed "to freaking nuts" to vote.

No need for that. He has already disenfranchised himself. He stated in another thread that he does NOT vote, and that he doesn't see the point in going to vote. :D

Well, is there any point in going to vote? It's mathematically inconsequential, and I am not going to waste good time by casting my vote when it will make no difference. It's like the good old prisoner's dilemma.

I'm voting for all the Republican candidates.
You even flip flop like your Bush idol. Oh the logic is baffling?
Delator
06-11-2006, 08:43
I'm voting...

Republican for Senate
Democrat for House
Democrat for Governor
Mostly unopposed Republicans for local offices, but Democrat for Sheriff and State Assembly.
---
No on a gay marriage ban ammendment for the state constitution
Yes on an exemption for numerous local bars from a municipal smoking ban
Still undecided on my vote regarding a death penalty referedum...
