I've been kicked out of my wife's room for a while and I got some wifi access on my laptop so I thought I'd let you all know that my wife is in labor. I'd love to stick around, but I've got to keep Little Goofball out of trouble until my mom can pick him up. Perhaps I'll have some time later. I will let you know what pops out of her as soon as I can. :)

We have three, one at a time.

LG- get off the computer and stay involved. Hold your wife's hand and make sure you're getting your money's worth out of the nurses and doctors.

bad suggestion... Drs advise not doing that. during labor, it has been known that bones are broken.

My brother placed a knot in the sleeve of his sweater and gave that to his wife to pull upon during labor...

that was 7 yrs ago and they still can't get the knot out. :D

If it's just a 2am feeding, he's lucky. Mine alternated their wake-ups and didn't sleep straight through for a year and a half.

By the time she and the twins got a clean bill of health, it was getting pretty late, so they spent the night. I'm going to pick them up this morning. :)

The subject of the future came up last night. We had planned to have a second child. Twins were a complete surprise. Now, we had intended to have a third if it was a boy(we both wanted at least one girl), but as our second and third were a package deal, we aren't sure about a fourth. Certainly not any time soon.

Well, it really depends. There is such a thing as a 'Two Day Law' and the subject did come up, but her doctor seemed satisfied, and more importantly, she seemed satisfied, so I nodded and smiled. I know when to keep my mouth shut. :)

Keep in mind, that her release hasn't been signed yet. I've simply been told that barring any complications in the night, that she could come home about ten or eleven this morning. Obviously, this isn't set in stone yet.

Your first sentence in the original post had me thinking that you had a big argument. Upon further reading, you're gonna be a daddy (again)! What can I say, I didn't know because I've been absent from Nationstates for a while. Anyway congratulations! Hope they have a healthy, happy life and that your wife recovers well.
