The USA is number 4!

Yep, we're number 4 on the list of countries that Egyptians consider to be enemies. Israel, Denmark and Britain came in ahead of us. Shit, the US gives them like two billion dollars in combined military and financial aid. Maybe we should stop supporting those ungrateful fucks.

Essentially that money pays the Egyptian government to keep its population in line and control the border with Gaza. As Egypt is a dictatorship thats not going to go down too well with the man on the street.

Just wondering. Why do we care if their population is kept in line? They don't have much oil or any other important resources.

But not for politicians. They would much rather play poker for high stakes in smoke-filled rooms (cigars?) with oak desks and leather bound books when they want to take a few risks.

They had an election recently, which was concluded to be pretty fair, and the result was that President Mubarak was re-elected quite securely. Granted, there were issues such as the lack of a reasonable opposition, but lets save the term 'dictatorship' for regimes that actually deserve it. Not just regimes that we might not like (i.e. Iran, Venezuela or China).

I've nothing particularily against the Egyptians, other than their tendency to beat the shit out of people and torture the odd dissident. They do not appear on my TV and piss while talking about the rainy weather, nor have they tried to bump off Hugo Chavez.

A lot of you seem to be under the mistaken impression that Egyptian hatred is directed in reaction to perceived anti-Arab biases on the part of certain countries. This is most certainly not the case, and I shall endeavor to lay out why the top 4 nations are hated the way that they are.

First, Denmark: Since first discovering that Denmark was a real country (and not just a lie made up by their 5th Grade Geography teachers), the Egyptions have directed a great deal of ire at Denmark. Why? Simple, Great Danes are generally more popular that Ibizans, in spite of the fact that "Ibizan" is easily a much cooler name than "Great Dane" (what makes them so great anyway? Well, except for the fact that they are fucking huge).
The currently accepted theory for the peculiar lack of love for the Ibizan is attributed to a vast Jewish-Danish conspiracy, which causes their great hatred for the Israelis.
The anti-British sentiment has nothing to do with dogs, but is in reaction to their creation so many shortlived sitcoms during the 70's and 80's. In which they would get everyone's hopes up with great 10 episodes, and then twirl their mustaches fiendishly while not continuing the series past the 1st or 2nd season.
Finally, the belief that America is their enemy comes from our continued refusal to kill either Adam Sandler or Will Ferrell, and I have to agree with the Egyptians here. Really, they're completely interchangeable, so why haven't we done a Thunderdome with them yet?

That's a rather dense and narrow view of a much more complicated situation. It could be that Eisenhower was worried about re-election, or it could be that the USSR threatened nuclear intervention against the UK and France.

That depends. Many south Asian muslim women do cover their heads, usually with the "dupatta" that goes with the "salwar Kameez" (the baggy pant and tops).

But these are hindu women....the dot on the head is a safe way to identify that..muslim women never put dots (very very few do..).
