Satire of a Bat s@#$ kind!

Well............ I woke up 2 hours ago, at 3:48 am. And... I came up with a new story!

The story is mostly made up of BS theories that I've discarded, but whatever. It's supposed to be about the Republicans and Democrats being pushed out of power and the Independents taking over. A 15 year old girl who associates herself wit the Independents finds out about the history of the Republicans and Democrats (and figures out why they're so freaking similar!). She learns about it from the college student next door (who came back home for a few days) who is a journalist. She wrote an article but her Democrat editor rejected it and a Republican fellow-reporter reported it to the FBI. The FBI confirmed it as true and the Repblican and Democrat Parties threaten the poor journalist and tell her not to show it at all. the 15 year old (who doesn't have a name yet because I can't think of one) posts it on the Internet and gets in trouble but hey, the Independents manage to take over the US and the Republicans and Democrats are out of power.

However, there is a major warning on this. We all know about the 9/11 conspiracy theorists, and how they say the Republicans shot down all the planes and everything (there's quite a few conspiracy theorists in my honors science class ). Here comes another batcrap (I don't like using the synonym of "crap" in writing... don't ask why) warning.... in the story, the Democrats actually did it.

Well, what I need for the story is names for politcial candidates (I don't want to use real names) and the protagonist and juornalist. And some UNBIASED history of the Republican and Democrat Parties (as well as some info on the Federalists and Whigs).

I don't really plan on having this published, but I'd at least like to finish it (and no, my other stories shouldn't suffer).

Doesn't anyone have patience anymore? I hope your impatience isn't reflected in your story, because that would make for very bad pacing.

Ummmm.... good point. :p

And no, my impatience isn't really reflected in any of my stories... except the CGD one... every 9 days a character dies, gets pregnant, or attempts to run away. Or gets insulted by the US government. In one year. It doesn't happen in my other stories, however. :p

Do what I used to do when I had to make a name for somebody in English, find anything in your house with credits and use the names of people there(e.g. a DVD, a game manual).

Also, 6500 posts!

Or a yearbook? Good idea.

However, last names is a problem. I don't want to use something too common like "Brown" "Norton" "Jordan" or something like that. And I don't want to use the names of my friends because that owuld be weird. And I don't want to use my own last name (which is VERY common in the US). First names aren't much of a problem, it's the last names.

Anything with lots of names of people who aren't famous. Also, you can find such a thing and mix up the first and last names.

Federalists and Whigs- long, aristocratic names with "the III"s on the end, etc.

ex. "Jonatan Louise Barges the Third"

Republicans and Democrats- short versions of ^ names

ex. "John Barges" or "Jon L. Barges"

Some names:

John Kerrone- Dem.
Daniel Samuel Simmons the Fourth- Fed
George Buserone- Rep.
Samuel James Adams the Fifth- Whig

And if you want you can get lazy and use the name of someone who is famous and have them teased occassionally about it.

I was thinking of that.

Tom Foley, D-FL. Jorge Branch, President of the USA. Rick Cheyenne, VP of the USA. That ok?

I thing Jorge Branch is pushing it a bit. And Cheyenne isn't pronounced at all like Chaney.

Is this 15 year old girl based on yourself?

I'm not sure why, but people always like to place themselves into their own stories, teenagers in particular. Not trying to sound patronizing or old or anything, just saying that's something I notice.

Hell, I'm only 16. Well, 17 in February, and that's just around the corner.

Hmm... "Cheney" and "Cheyenne" do look similar though, which is what I was aiming for. And "Jorge Branch" may be pushing it, yes.

I just said probably not.For two reasons:

1. I have read two books at the same time for my english class, so anything else is a a no-no.
2.I just don't like it. Sorry, kid, just my personal tastes. I'm being as honest as the Buddha has said I should be.
