With the new game just released a couple of weeks ago, I figured now would be as good a time as any for this. So who's your favourite?

Batman has always been my favourite, but I couldn't help myself. I had to vote for Ruffy. :D

Well the only one who doesn't start bending absurd rules due to "we having been using these characters way too long and are running out of story lines so we give them ridiculous abilities" syndrome is Batman.

I really enjoyed Kyle Rayner (while I could still afford the comics).
But I fear that given such a ring, I might end up pulling a Hal Jordan. (Which, with Spectre would be awesome in the literal sense, and coming back ain't so bad either)

Oh, and Green Arrow he has always seemed pretty cool as well. Nuts, hm, well in the Marvel Supreme Power books(new ones) Hyperion is my favorite so I'll go with Superman I guess, some of the symbolism there is pretty neat.

No, but sometimes apocalyptic power levels can be fun:) Besides I do like some of the myth stuff attached to Superman, It's A Bird gives a pretty good look at some of that symbolic stuff.

Soon, we can form our own NSG Green Lantern Corps!

Batman actually came up with protocals that can (and did) take down the Justice League... I mean it brought them to their knees.

No. The Yellow weakness is a side-effect of a creature of elemental fear called Parrellax that is imprisoned within the central battery. It's possible to overcome that fear, and thus be able to effect yellow objects. Younger and more inexperienced green lantern members may have trouble overcoming that fear, however.

Also, Kyle Rayner isn't a green lantern anymore. He's Ion. Think of him as a super-duper-mega Green Lantern Deluxe. :)

Martian Manhunter was pretty cool in the cartoon.

I'm hard pressed to pick between Superman and Batman. Probably because in the context of JLA, the two are really like two sides of the same coin. Part of what makes each of them what they are as characters is the contrast that they create with the other.

I don't read a lot of comics, but I've read several of the JLA novels (and watched most of the Cartoon Network series :) ). They all seem to contain a few scenes in which Superman's faith in human virtue and Batman's cynical hard-bitten pragmatism form a contrast to one another with both being made to seem indispensible.

I know that is one choice that will take anybody down. But Lex Luthor with the Anti-Life equation, as seen on the series finale aof JLU, makes him the baddest of the bunch. He did what Darkseid couldn't do.
