I don't mean to imply you meant to be negative about it or anything, but since when is there a "gay lifestyle"? is there a straight lifestyle? my lifestyle has far, far more to do with the fact I'm an internet addict, a vegetarian, and a student, than with my sexuality. come to think of it, my sexuality has almost nothing to do with the rest of my life at all.

the only thing different about being romantically involved with a male instead of a female is that simple things like chivalry look a bit different...(no obligatory chair-pulling and door-opening), that and you can borrow your beau's clothing and not look odd. I don't mean to be overly defensive or to get trigger happy with political correctness or whatever, but sexual orientation isn't a lifestyle. you might as well call being brunette "the brunette lifestyle"...
