Well, Kerry has now apologized.
For those of you that don't know, Kerry, our boy of '04, recently made comments stating that those that fail to stay in school will get stuck in Iraq. He released an announcement, stating that it got botched, and that he meant to say "stay in school, or you'll get us stuck in Iraq. Just ask President Bush."
First, Kerry made counter accusations, then defended his comments, and now he finally apologized for giving a joke that didn't come out right.

Give me a break. If there was as big a stink everytime something out of Dubya's mouth was screwed up, we'd never hear about anything else.
Reminds me of that bit from Beowulf where someone said something to the effect of "you're not that great Beowulf. I heard that you lost a swimming race not long ago."

Yep, I agree. It certainly don't agree with what he said, but it pales in comparison with all of the shit to fall out of Dubya's mouth.
