She's publicly stated she doesn't believe in separation of church and state, and that to elect anyone who's not a christian is to elect sin into office. She grew up a rich little bitch and is now married to a rich bastard - she's never known any kind of poverty, at all. She tries to make herself look like a victim because her campaign staff keeps leaving her because she yells at them and throws hissy fits when something small happens.
Before he became the first of three campaign managers to quit, Jim Dornan programmed his cellphone to play the theme song from "The Exorcist" when Harris called.
For fuck's sake.
Oh and this was the stupid whore in charge of the 2000 recount. It is to laugh.
Regardless of who she's running against, vote for her opponent. Multiple times if possible. And try and get some dead relatives and neighbours to vote too. And your pets.

She's roughly 26 points behind her opponent and she hasn't even CONSIDERED the idea of her not winning, and has gone so far as to say she could be the first woman president.
I'd go the step further and hope that someone caps this bitch.

I live in Florida (Jacksonville). As an atheist I will, of course, not be voting for Harris. But I do side with her actions during the 2000 recount. I am far from a Republican, but that whole thing was Gore and the DP pitching a fit, trying to get a recount they wanted.

I don't expect to be voting for Harrisn not sure who I'll be voting for. I'm really undecided on who to vote for, man am I in trouble.
As for governor, I'm pretty sure I'll be voting for Crist. I still need to do some pretty extensive research.

Yes, but by refering to her as the 'stupid whore' in charge of the recount, you made your opinion of the recount well known, as well as implying that it should be considered a negative in evaluating her as a potential candidate.
I was merely expressing my equal dislike of her as a person and politician, while disagreeing with you that the recount actions were a negative. Thus proving that you don't have to be a Democrat or a Shrub-hater to think that Harris is a douche.

I call her the stupid whore in charge of the recount because she's a stupid whore and she was in charge of the recount. She can most readily be identified as "that stupid whore that was in charge of the recount", as opposed to just "that stupid whore" or "the florida secretary of state" - more people know about the recount than those that know florida even has a secretary of state.
And I know you don't have to be a democrat or shrub-hater to think she's a douche, but it helps.

In terms of GOP candidates, there's an easy system to divide up how everyone's doing. You can look at everyone's poll numbers over the first week or so of October to get a good idea of how they will do.
Ahead in the polls - Can't lose. The GOP candidate would have to club a baby seal and kick a puppy down an elevator shaft on national TV to lose. And even then, the Dems would find a way to lose.
Down by 4 points or less - Probably still a winner. Especially if you're an incumbent or in a red state.
Down by 5-9 points - Toss-up. The Dems have started a great losing tradition, but this is a bit to make up in a month. Look for the candidate to campaign dirty and sling as much mud as possible.
Down by 10-19 points - It's a tough spot, but victory is possible. Dig up every bit of dirt you can on your opponent and his/her party. Make outrageous claims about them. Use every logical fallacy you can.
Down by 20 points or more - Karl Rove couldn't win you this one, pal. You're fucked, and you're about to lose to a Democrat. Retire from politics and go get a job at a dry cleaners. Oh, and change your name and get a nose job. No point in having people recognize you as a disgraced politician who actually managed to lose to a Democrat.
Lose by 25 points - Shame. Horrible shame. Laughable, pathetic shame. Go-join-the-circus shame. Your name is mud now.
Katherine Harris is in that second-to-last range right now and could end up in the join-the-circus level in November. Ha ha.

Well, gee whiz...the term here is "psycho Christian white bitch." let's break that down.
Psycho - debatable. After all, she's getting her ass handed to her on a plate and she still thinks she's winning. Good political thinking, sure. Rational, not really.
Christian - I don't think she will deny that she's a Christian.
White - She's white, OK? She's not black or red or purple.
Bitch - Again, subjective. Comments like "Electing anyone who isn't a Christian will lead to legislating sin" or whatever she said isn't quite Coulter-esque but borders on "bitch." And just so we don't think I'm being sexist here, plenty of men say stupid things; we just call them "assholes."
That's two descriptors that are dead-on and two that are very possible. Derogatory, sure. Racist, marginally. Sexist, not really. Libel? Not a chance. Your statement is less accurate than the one you decry. Therefore, you lose. Have a nice day.
It's fun when technicality tears people limb from limb. :3

Heh, that article is, if not comedy gold, comedy silver.
Katherine Harris, who is trying to become a U.S. senator, says she is writing a tell-all about the many people who have wronged her. This includes, but is not necessarily limited to: the Republican leaders who didn't want her to run, the press that has covered her troubled campaign, and the many staffers who have quit her employ, whom she accuses of colluding with her opponent.
She is vague about what, precisely, makes her a victim, but she says she has it all documented.

Im in florida. Hurricane Charley Ground-Zero.
Katherine Harris botched the recount, just like she was supposed to do. That's why the Republicans PROMOTED her afterwards.
I usually take a lot of time reading about the candidates, as I am not usually a party voter, but an issue voter.
But my issue this time is getting Republicans out of office. Im voting Dem all the way.
I agree with Nancy Pelosi, it's a waste of time to impeach Bush, et al. Better to just make them Lame Ducks and move on.
Oh, and lucky me, Foley was from my district.

Florida politics aren't nearly as nutty as Texas politics. Sure, when I lived there the legislature took an inordinate amout of time voting for the state dirt (sugar sand)
