Why are people in such a hurry to kill and die and find out if they're right? Considering the stiff penalty for getting a wrong answer on this test, I'm stalling handing it in to the Teacher for as long as possible. :p

Jewish culturally, not religiously. Through years of breeding with only Jews, Jews have become their own culture/religion.

I have no idea what the purpose of this thread really is...so I will take this opportunity to throw out my alternative plan for peace.

My plan is simple: Give the Jews the state of Kansas. Let the crazy ones stay where they are; the ones who want peace will move to Kansas, run the place very nicely, and won't take any shit off of Fred Phelps. Therefore, either Phelps moves and the U.S. can scatter his church in the process, or Phelps stays, the Israelis/New Kansans pass a law against being an asshole of too high a degree, and Fred Phelps and the Westboro Fascist Church is punished by being forced to hold up signs on street corners that say "God Hates Dipshits" and "I'm a Dipshit" and "Therefore, God Hates Me" and such.

That and the Kurds can have Nebraska. The Jews get a wheat state; the Kurds get a corn state. When the Muslims figure out that there are no Jews or Kurds left to pick on, their heads begin to explode...well, if they're already of the wacko variety. The rest of the Muslims will have a hearty laugh at the idiots' expense.

But more to the point, I think that referring to jews as a separate race is meant to distance them. The only thing I can't figure out is if the jews created that myth, or if their enemies did.

At that point, the Jews didn't actually have Israel. Now, they do, so I am thinking of Kansas as sort of an upgrade, not a necessity. Let the fanatics go build their temple or whatever, and then we give them Kansas. Soon enough, something besides wheat might come out of that part of the country.

Admittedly, it's a far-fetched idea because, aside from the religious aspects of it, getting people to pack up and move from Israel to Kansas en masse would be a problem. I checked it out; 2.7 million people live in Kansas. Fewer live in Nebraska...1.8 million. Israel has 7 million people; that's enough to give them a majority even if we vacated both states. Maybe Israel should get Nebraska...I assume corn is kosher.

I know exactly where you are coming from with the racial aspect of Judaism. One of my closest friends, a 19 year old male is pretty pi$$ed to say the least about it. He is of mostly Jewish descent per se, well complete Jewish descent I am not too sure. Anyway apparently his grandfather converted to Roman Catholicism, married a Jewish woman however and they moved to the US, and the children decided which faith they would retain. His Father decided to also be baptised and be Roman Catholic as did all of his siblings except the youngest sister who decided to become Jewish instead faithwise.
Anyway apparently even though he doesn't relate to Judaism at all anymore, he still gets bothered by his grandmothers Synagogue, because apparently, you cannot convert away from Judaism once a jew always a jew literally their stance. I wonder is this true in particular or does he just have a very stubborn Rabbi?
Anyway he is very defensive about it and denies any jewish heritage in his family, with the singular claim he, his two brothers and his father are Roman Catholics end of discussion. And apparently he will never visit Israel either or step foot in a Synagogue. Which I think is more a small sign of insecurity on his part then outright hate of his heritage.
Also what is with the cultural? He is has blue eyes and several of his family dark blonde hair, he comes originally from Eastern Europe. You would not presume he is Jewish by appearence, he does not possess a hooked nose or hunch back either,..

We strong-arm them into signing a treaty that calls for the export of wheat to the U.S., but for the most part, we leave them alone.
