I like his early stuff very much. Have to admit I haven't exactly kept current with him. I was shocked to see in the Wiki (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leonard_cohen) article that he's in his 70's. What next? Will the President of the US be younger than Mick Jagger?

We're all getting there. I'm not sure what I'll do when I'm older than the President. I recall reading somewhere long ago that for guys an age watershed was when they realized they were older than the Playboy Playmate of the Month. :p

I am a huge fan of his. I had a girlfriend named Suzanne named for his song of the same name when it came to my attention.I call him ''The Master of Melancholy'' since my temperment matches his songs most of the time. What songs stand out for you? I'm an especial fan of 'The Future'',''Tower of Song'',and ''Closing Time''. Are you aware that he was swindled out of his fortune by his former business manager and lover,such is the nature of life.
