Is this game a little slow, or am I missing something? Is all the action in the forums? Is NationStates just a "pick your view on an issue once a day and see what happens" kind of game?
All the fun is here. Also, NSG now owns your soul, you'll never be able to leave.

NS is what you make it for yourself. You can fart around here in General. You can join the UN and participate in the debates there. Hell, you can completely make shite up and roleplay in International Incidents. There are also lots of regions (for example, Antarctic Oasis (http://z11.invisionfree.com/Antarctic_Oasis/index.php?)) and organisations (for example, DEFCON (http://s15.invisionfree.com/UN_DEFCON)) with offsite forums. It's not just the stuff on nationstates.net.
Me? I poke around here in General, but my NS stuff is mostly in the UN and on offsite forums.

The biggest benefit to being part of this 'game' is learning all sorts of new things you'd never even heard of because of the diverse population in NSG. I'm enjoying it very much.
