What my reasearch has taught me

Well, as most of y'all know, I've recently have finished my "Conservatism in America" research paper, which spanned from June of 2006 to October of 2006. So, what did I learn? I learn that I like Goldwater's brand of Conservatism the best. He really did believe in small government, low taxes, and social freedom. If he was involved in politics today, he would probably be part of the Libertarian Party. I've also learn that Richard M. Nixon is considered the first Neo-Con. Finally I learn that Bush, the Republican, and the Neo-Cons of today have strayed so far right from Goldwater's view of what Conservatism is, that I now see why they are called Neo-Con. instead of Conservative. My research paper is 38 pages long.

The final thing I've learned is that if I've done my paper on General Aviation, I'd probably had a lot more fun with it. I may get another chance to do another research paper in the future, so we'll see.

I would also like to announce that as the end of my research paper, I will be following the Goldwater brand of Conservatism. Which would make me Libertarian or a "liberal Republican" like John McCain.
