General survey

This is one of the few forums I've been to in which personal profiles weren't stressed, nor was a particular group of people targeted specifically for participation.

So to get a general idea of where opinions are coming from, it'd be awesome should anyone be willing to fill out the following:

Age:
Gender:
Highest level of education completed:
Field of study:
General area of residence:

If you are uncomfortable revealing any portion or all of the information requested, no need to state as much, as it is understood (this being the creepy Internet and all).

That's less practical as I presume it doesn't reflect as well on those who are currently active in the forum. Unless things get deleted every so often? I don't know the semantics.

I'm just curious as I generally just stuck to country managing on NS, is there a reason there don't seem to be any personal profiles? It seems like it'd be less of a hassle than to person-by-person add everyone to a roster.

Jolt uses vB, so if you want to, you can click people's usernames to see their jolt profiles.

Other than that, our nations are our profiles.

I seem to recall the profile thread WAS open... and the 'two thread' mechanism arose because it got spammed into oblivion.

As has been mentioned, we already have a profiles thread. That makes this thread rather pointless.

Though I will say that adding the Level of Education descriptor to Erastide's profiles thread might be something you could ask her about.
