Ok one of my friend gave me this riddle, and neither one of us can figure it out, can anyone on here figure it out?

i turn polar bears white
and I will make you cry.
I make guys have to pee
and girls comb their hair.
I make celebrities look stupid
and normal people look like celebrities.
I turn pancakes brown
and make your champane bubble.
If you sqeeze me, I'll pop.
If you look at me, you'll pop.
Can you guess the riddle?

Wilgrove

How does pressure turn Polar Bears white?

... Well, they're white because of their habitat, which is subject to greater atmospheric pressure than other locations.

I'm not saying it's absolutely correct, just my immediate guess. o_O

explain please.

Whats the only question in the whole thing

"Can you guess the riddle"

They are not asking for the answer they are asking if you can GUESS the riddle

So depending on how you look at it yes you could guess the riddle (it does not have to be correct) ... or no because the riddle is presented before so how can you "Guess" what you know

In the end you could guess anything riddle or answer, it says nothing about being correct in either case

1. Explained earlier.
2. Pressure to meet certain standards and failing.
3. ... Obvious.
4. Pressure to look nice.
5. Pressure of being in the public eye.
6. Pressure to be beautiful and/or talented.
7. High temperatures are caused by pressure.
8. CO2.
9. Obvious.
10. Referring again to being a spectacle.

Even if this is one of those riddles with a yes or no answer, it isn't really a fantastic one, as in class a while back we actually came up with valid answers.

You can't squeeze time.... Man this is hard! lol.

actually, you can.

the early forms of timekeeping is an hourglass... if you squeeze it, it will pop.

also, if you rush to squeeze as much time into something... an activity say... something "pops".

Time and hourglasses aren't synonymous, though. And to be technical, I think if someone were strong enough to squeeze it that hard it would shatter or break as opposed to "pop," depending on the material.

in a riddle, everything is symbolic. including the item.

the egg riddle, it's not a box, yet it's described as one.

one Riddle about wind talks about bitting people. and the wind does bite... symbolically.

and I can squeeze something without using my hands or physical strength. I can squeeze as many words I could into a specified space... I can squeeze a train of thought into one idea.

I guess, but it's a stretch. The "time" answer still doesn't fit with all the others, though.

For one, I don't think the sun really induces boys to urinate.

A quick search of the net gave me this poem that seems like it might be pretty close to the riddle. Its not a very good poem.. nor is it a very good riddle though in my humble opinion.

TIME

The time has come,
winter is here
and those yellow bears disappear.

The time has past
as man looks back with a sigh
and a tear in his eye.

As time is held
boys cross their legs
but of course the toilet begs

As time marches on
Girls loose their blush
and swap a comb for their brush

As time passes
For those held high
their end is nigh

As time catches up
Everyone is equal
when we get to the final sequel

As time turns
Without it we have flour and water
With it we have breakfast for my daughter

As time revolves
How does one turn water and wine
into something so fine

As time runs out
The more in a minute you try and squeeze
the less you can do with ease.

As time ticks
All the time that has past
man cannot comprehend something so vast.

No.

Under the assumption you're answering the final question at the end, it varies person to person. People have guessed, and I believe you have as well, so that sort of makes a "no, can't guess" invalid.

Well, the final question would be the ONLY question to answer within that riddle. There are two possible answers. Both are equally correct. I proffered no guesses, ergo, "No" is a perfectly valid response from me, as "yes" would be if I made the attempt to answer the riddle. I haven't, and therefore, no is 100% accurate and valid. I can't. Amazingly, things can be both subjective, and correct at the same time. Welcome to the world of reality, where there are often several answers that are equally correct.

Yes or no depending on how you look at it

This is the bloody answer!

Yes, or no.
Simple as that.
It's entirely unsatisfying, but that's the point.

I'm really not in the mood to debate semantics with you.

However, for the sake of brevity, you are, in fact, physically and mentally capable of guessing answers to the riddle. It never specifies whether correctness is a factor, and since you seem to be a fan of technicalities, let's not break the consistency.

If one is also to ignore the fact that riddles often go beyond the meanings of blunt questions, your "two possible guesses" is still incorrect. You ignored the "maybe" option, the "probably," the "unlikely," and whatever other in betweens there are.

Well, the final question would be the ONLY question to answer within that riddle.

What am I? is the default question of every riddle.
