There has been some disagreement among my female friends (of which there aren't many, hence me posting this!) over whether they prefer their guys to have bodily hair or not.

Some say yes, some say everything should be bare (and I'm talking about legs, arms, chest here!).

What do the FEMALE members of this forum think?

Well, obviously.... It sounds like it comes as some surprise to you that individual females may have differences in what they find attractive....

What I was really driving at was, more disagreement than I would expect over a simple issue of 'hair or no hair'!

I agree ;) , but if I had to choose between hair or no hair at all, I'd definitely choose hair [but not super hairy]. Each to their own but the whole male waxing/shaving thing isn't attractive to me!

I don't mind a little hair, but it should be in the right places. No jungles, it should be at least trimmed nicely. Especially pubic hair, although I prefer that area shaved.
I think too hairy would be just as weird as completely hairless...

Oooh... a word of advice, don't touch a single hair on your body just to impress a woman!

Chances are its one of the last things on their list of what they care about in a man, it'll make you feel stupid and if your friends ever find out that you're shaving your chest they'll rip the piss out of you!

Same answer. Keep it trimmed nicely if you're unlucky enough to have a jungle growing there, but don't bother shaving it all of. It's going to be rather prickly when it starts to grow back otherwise, and no girl will ever like that.

I prefer guys without too much body hair. Bald is bad, but too much is equally so.

if you find a woman who has such a preference that she doesnt even date men with hair or without hair, you need to avoid her no matter what your hairy status is. she is too shallow and too controlling to be worth your while

Cmon glitz, I know you attack pretty much every post you see that has a gender based stereotype of women in it. That is to be applauded. But giving the guy a brush back pitch type of warning for stating that there are differences in women's opinions on a subject rather than a stereotypical sameness on the grounds that he shouldnae have to say it? Warning the guy for stating women arent alike because he might in the future somehow state that they are alike seem, to some, possibly, just maybe, if it occurred to them, just a teensy weensy bit over the top or overly sensitive. Probably not of course but I'm just sayin....you knowq, that um...some people might...um..you know....get that...errr... wrong idea. Yeah that's the ticket. What kind of weird options are that? Who wants anybody completely shaved? o.O

years ago changing my clothes for sports class I discovered that girls like big hairy chests. Of course I wasn't supposed to change my clothes while girls were around but I had my marginal times :p luckily they didn't report me to teachers and we flirtations were a bonus.

This poll fails because it does not include the obligatory joke answer, "Medium Rare."

So I voted for hairy dudes.
