So, as part of a top secret experiment, I, as well as three of my buddies have been experimenting in the art of the homebrewing of beer and ales. We have brewed a Hefeweizen, an American Style Microbrewery Pale Ale and a Koelsch. We cracked the Hefeweizen tonight, our first batch.
It tastes amazing, flavor is just like the Hefeweizens I had in Germany (a bit weaker, but that's because of a minor mistake we made). The beer is excellent in flavor, color is perfect, so is the carbonation. We have created one of the best beers I have ever tasted (partially because my own labor is mixed in with it).
The alcohol content is extremely high though, way too for a hefeweizen. I'm a heavyweight drinker of the first order, and I'm feeling it seriously after a meager four bottles. The exact same goes for 'percio. It's not a bad thing, it's just a surprise.
But yeah, here's me and one of my babies (http://img205.imageshack.us/img205/538/imgp2076gz6.jpg).
