It is finally here!

Lo and behold, my 1000th post. I've been looking forward to this moment since my 927th post, I've even got myself a slice of cake to celebrate.

So yeah, I've never had any kind of ego-based thread before... not even a 'hey, i'm new here' kind of thing, (I was the biggest lurker for like the first year or so I was here, I actually remember a few of the thousandaires here when they were n00bs), so, I hope no-one will begrudge me a thread on this day, the day of my thousandth post.

Oh yeah, and here's the obligatory debate question that I need for this to not be spam: is reaching 1000 posts on a forum something to be proud of, or is Mark Foley a Jihadist who is considering overthrowing the regime of Kim Jong-il?

Plus, nobody knows who you are. You have to be Someone before anyone notices you. I mean, there are plenty of people who get noticed, it's just not people with a mere 1000 post count.

Meh... I wouldn't say 'nobody'. I think I've made a bit of an impact, if not a huge impact.
