I used to get the absolute worst songs stuck in my head, like the theme from that Jem cartoon from the 80's...or some Bobby Brown song, or other pop crap. Since I stopped watching tv and listening to pop radio, my brain is untroubled by such commercial crap. Now I've had 'Ain't no sunshine when she's gone' by Horace Andy in my head for a month. Sweet...Then my daughters love the Mary Poppins soundtrack, but that's cool because Julie Andrews is awesome and Dick Van Dyke is fun, so I have those songs as earworms too.

Because God mandated that this thread stay alive. Implicitly stating that God hates you.

"Revolution" by the Beatles, which some tasteless NSer had the bad taste to post and get stuck in my head. The worst part is that I hate the Beatles.
Luckily I get to chase it out of my head by listening to a Brahms Piano Quartet until I am unable to hear it without knowing where every part should be. That means that I'll have to listen to it on the order of 10 times a day for at least a week, and then twice through a day to practice along with.
I won't be able to exist without hearing the catchier parts, no doubt.

I just want to know. Is there a song that you can't get out of your head, for whatever reasons? Or is there a song you can never get tired of?
Reading the title of the thread put some stupid Kelly Clarkson song in my head (damn you, lol). I can't tell you which one because they're *all* stupid and they all sound the same and her hotness can't make me like any of them.
As for a song I don't mind ever getting stuck in my head, I'd say Wait by Earshot. It's the first song in my running set and one of my favorites of the past couple of years.

I suppose that makes sense :P
It's like anything by They Might Be Giants in that it's just sorta nonsensical and fun. And damned catchy.
Since I'm talking about songs stuck in my head I should mention that my personal record is having "O Canada" stuck in my head for 3 weeks.

Hmm, didn't know that. It doesn't matter much because it's the TMBG version that's stuck in my head.
Two songs that often pop into my head for no reason, and they have for years:
Billion Dollar Babies by Alice Cooper
Fly to the Rainbow by Scorpions

I haven't even heard of them before....At least I don't recall hearing of them. I'll listen to the link now that I'm at home.
That's nothing. I had all three Indiana Jones themes and the Schindler's List theme cycling through my head for about six months without interruption.

Most Rodney Carrington tunes find their way into my head but can't seem to find their way out!!!
*sings*
Dear Penis,
I don't think I like you anymore,
You used to watch me shave,
Now all u do is stare at the floor.
Oh dear Penis,
I don't like you anymore.
It used to be you and me,
A paper towel, and a dirty magazine,
That's all we needed to get by.
Now it seems things have changed,
I think that your the one to blame.
Dear Penis,
I don't like you anymore.
Now he sings,
Dear Rodney,
I don't think I like you anymore,
'Cause when u get to drinkin'
You put me places I've never been before.
Dear Rodney,
I dont like you anymore.
Why can't we just get a grip,
On our man to hand relationship.
Come to terms with truly how we feel.
If we put our heads together,
We'd just stay home forever.
Dear Penis,
I think I like you after all.
Oh and Rodney,
While yer shavin',
Shave my balls.
