Let's see - at the moment, I have a laptop, a cordless mouse, a floppy drive, two necklaces, a box full of assorted writing utensils, a headset, three art erasers, a little bottle of Febreze, a blank CD-R, a box of matches, 52 cents, a mug, a bottlecap, a little doohicky that's part of my chair (which I need to figure out how to put back on), a pocket knife, a bracelet, an anklet, a pair of tweezers, a scrap of paper with a friend's new cell phone number on it, a pair of nail clippers, a fortune-cookie fortune, a couple of books, the Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic CD, the instruction book for my printer, the game manual for WoW, a roll of Scotch tape, and a cell phone charger.

are you kidding? last year I didn't know what I was writing about until Thanksgiving, I just wrote stuff... and it got bigger and bigger LOL , don't get to confident in your wordcount though, I was ahead and got sick and ended up just under 40K at the end of the month :(

yep, you will notice most of it is pretty flat-ish too, catalogs, papers, DVR's, brochures, etc.

it was a huge massive pile and I had to keep readjusting it to be able to barely move my mouse and yeah, even with a massive desk like I have (it's a good 4ft deep and 5 feet long) it was a ton of crap....

btw, I am so terrified to open those petri dishes, we are searching for our microscope now to investigate.

My desk has a back with a second level on it, and I have a cabinet next to it that I use as an extension to my desk. It's pretty tidy (more tidy than my roomates, that is), but I have a bunch of shit, here's a list:

1. two 19" monitors (do alot of video editing)
2. A Dell Deimension E510 (terrible idea. I knew not to buy Dell, but I saw the price and said "Oh I'll add onto it!" not considering I wouldn't have any money to do so)
