School, exams, etc
Well, today was the first day back at school after a two week holiday. Bah. I wasn't really ready too, since I was on holiday in Melbourne the last weekend. (TBD and Kanabia, the black van following you around all day Sunday was me, just thought I'd... pop by... <.< >.>) End of year exams are impending in a month. Also they just happen to coincide with the release date of Medieval 2. WHY DO YOU MOCK ME SO? So Hamilay is taking a short leave of absence from NS to study. Not that you'd notice anyway, since I mostly lurk, but meh. Just thought I'd unload my woes onto NSG. :(

I'd kill to have exams again. I'd love to be a student, rather than having to deal with the real world.

Quoted for truth. I plan on getting back into school as soon as possible.

working for a living is like one giant, long, big exam that lasts the rest of your life :(

Been there. Done that. At one point, I was working three jobs to put myself through school (to pay for rent, food and the like), on top of my full tuition scholarship. Still better than just dealing with the real world.

Yuck.
Well, if the so called "real world" is as terrible as everyone says, remind me why i'm still bothering to breathe?

Not really, but I plan to get a job I enjoy and that gives me semi regular holidays. :)

I'm just going to drop off the radar after high school. I'll pull the classic office space dream, and do nothing.

meh. currently i'm of the mindset that "job" and "enjoy" cannot go in the same sentence together :( (without the word 'not' in there as well, of course)

Oh? Surely you can somehow integrate what you like doing in your downtime into paid employment? :fluffle:

maybe one day. but then again, something you find enjoyable done every day of your life over and over again is going to quickly lose all its appeal.

Have you considered a penis enlargement? :p

I diasagree. I've had jobs I've enjoyed immensely doing things I love. :)
Well, I actually noticed I didn't really have much to do, considering I've been given no practise exam papers. Lots of assignments, but not much else. I was busy studying a new character in KOTOR 2 this evening though. Ah well.
