I FINALLY got past my writer's block in Think of the Children! YAY!!!! :D:D:D
I got stuck on the first chapter over the summer, but just when I thought I'd have to write the chapter a second time, I came up with an idea! I finished the chapter (which is Layla's chapter, Kendra's chapter is really the prologue) and so far have gotten 3 pages for Damon's chapter (aka Chapter Two.) :D
I'm so happy right now!
And I have a new idea. Before the story starts NationStates becomes globally known as a internet think tank, and so guess who gets famous? (Smunkee and LG, of course :p). Well, I was just thinking... how about the English teacher be... :eek: RELATED TO SMUNKEE! (Or, LG, Not bad, Nazz, Eut, either DM, DK, Gravlen, DCD, Farnhamia, Fiddles, Kat, TG *runs out of breath, continues* TSI, Ruffy, Free shepmagans, Dinaverg, Ginnoria... etc etc etc!) Well?

Okay, the story is abotu the US in 2022, and there's this law that restricts kids from doing just about everything- including junk food, TV, iPods, etc. Four kids are goign thorugh this, and NS will be mentioned, of course ;)

Isn't your story the one where children are so protected it's like a kid's version of 1984?
If you're looking for the kids' version of 1984, it's called 'The Giver' (hahaha, anyone on here suddenly remember that from ages ago and start freaking out?)

That can happen I have stranded after 5 pages, it's not the ideas, it's the phrasing that can be difficult among other things.

Yeah, it is kind of sad, but I'd written the prologue already and then had to re-write the first two chapters becasue they werte written in an entirely different sense and I didn't want that, but meh, plus I'd had a bajillion other things (band camp, homework, school, and of course the other 10 stories)
