I recently updated my Winamp media player programme to version 5.3. After I did this I played music in it, but my speakers seem to have stopped working. I tried playing sound in other programmes, but to no avail. Then I plugged in different speakers and then I tried headphones, all without success.
What should I do to get my sound back?

See if it somehow muted and/or disabled your sound card. And have to tried restarting your computer?

If that doesn't work try updating the soundcard driver or rolling back to before you updated winamp.

It doesn't look like it has disabled my sound card. I'm going to uninstall Winamp.
