And oral sex isn't sick, it's a natural, healthy way to express one's sexuality... and I've never had such encounters with a boy with a tongue ring before so it's a novelty to me.

Not really. It's the constant clashing between the back of the teeth and gums. They're excellent for giving people Gingivitus as they wear away the gums. It's not pretty.

The problem is the tongue moves as do the rings. People tend to "flick" them from front to back, often catching the gum as they do so.
Also food often gets caught and the smell if not cleaned quickly can be... bad.:(

My sister has one. Not my thing, but it looks good on her. She said it hurt a lot less than her nose piercing, but she couldn't really talk for about an hour afterwards.

i voted nay because i think they are ugly, especially when the person who has a tongue piercing is constantly playing with it, and when said person can't speak because of it.

My ex never seemed to understand the need for less pressure from her teeth. The only problem was she thought she was great at it and I didnt have the heart to tell her she 'sucked' at it. Just broke up with her instead :p

Believe it or not, a Prince Albert is one of the least painful piercings. It was certianly a lot less painful than my nipple piercing, or my septum piercing (OUCH!!!). Actually, it didn't hurt as much as getting and earring done, either.

As for why you'd want to get one, that's easy. You wouldn't believe how much more powerful your orgasm is with a PA!

Plus, you can pee in two different directions at once, and freak people out by talking about the ring in your nob.

Well, I don't have one myself, I'm in a marching band where piercings in general are a no-no and I can imagine that it would mess up my ability to play my flute a bit.

I wouldn't get one...too worried about chipping a tooth/getting a lisp.

Here is my conflicted answer...

I love tongue rings on a girl, I think they are hot and I think they are sexy. I see a girl with a tongue and, as long as the rest of her looks fine, there is an instant sexual attraction. I tend to like a flashier girl but I have my limits.

On the other hand...

I also tend to think of a girl with a tongue ring as slutty. I may feel a strong attraction to her, but I would hesitate as far going out with her. Strippers have tongue rings, a classier girl normally does not. Also, alot of girls looking for attention have tongue rings and tend to be insecure, so this is another setback. I like girls with tongue rings, alot, but not sure if I would commit to a serious relationship with one.

one thing is for sure, i hate nose rings. looks like a maetallic snot if its a stud and an actual ring in the nose is gross. imo.
