Whos your favourite world leader?

Soviestan

Mine is Boris Yelstin. This is because he was drunk, a lot. At the 1st summit between Clinton and him he could barely get off the plane. At another point in the summit he was staggering around in his underpants shouting for pizza. In addition in 1999 he suggested to Clinton they meet on a submarine on an emergency basis. This guy gives me hope that I too, could one day become a world leader. So whos your favourite either past or present.

It's a toss up between Mikhail Gorbachev or Peter Kropotkin, the Anarchist Prince.

Gorbachev tried to create democratic socialism in the Soviet Union after seventy years of Stalinist lies. Kropotkin renounced his nobility, and served as a leader in the pre-Bolshevik Russian Revolution.

However, V.I. Lenin decided to take it in himself to "lead" the Russian people to salvation at the end of a bayonet.

I'm terribly fond of Canada's last prime minister, Jean Chretien.

His English pronounciation was always a little questionable. He had Bell's Palsey, leaving half his face paralysed, so he always talked out of one side of his mouth. He once was confronted by an anti-poverty protester who got a little too aggressive, so he put the guy in a chokehold. Chretien was his own secret service.

Sure, I never always agreed with his politics. And yeah, all this sponsership scandal stuff has come out of the woodwork since he stepped down. He was always entertaining, though.

The ones doing the dividing are the Donkocrats and their left-lib blue-county minions.

Just one example: President Bush reached out to that fat drunk from Massachusetts to pass an education reform bill. Ol' lady-killer Ted subsequently became even more venomous and vitriolic in his public abuse of the President.

So I say, forget talk of "unity." I don't want unity with Kerry-voting Donkocrats. I want to defeat them, and keep defeating them, over and over and over and over and over and . . . .

I don't have a "favorite" leader, but the most interesting one is Mobutu Sese Seko. I'm not a fan of his (on the contrary), I just think he's absolutely fascinating to study. In fact, a large portion of the wikipedia article (the foreign policy, family, legacy, and quotes sections, and about 2/5 of the "one man rule" section) on him was written by Yours Truly. Two articles that are completely my own are the ones on Pierre Mulele and Jean Nguza Karl-i-Bond.

Your logic is infantile. The Catholic Church is against the use of contraceptives (wrongly IMO, but that's another story) wherever they may be used. AIDs is a particular problem in Africa. Link the two together, and presto! Accusing him of racism on such a flimsy basis is, I daresay, naive.

If they do its off to Canada for me.

Yeah, right.

If all the people that threatened to do that actually followed through with it over the past 8 years, then Canada would actually have people! :D

I'm going to like Chavez alot more once he has Chinese missiles that can hit Texas.

It shall be the policy of this Nation to regard any nuclear missile launched from Cuba against any nation in the Western Hemisphere as an attack by the Soviet Union on the United States, requiring a full retaliatory response upon the Soviet Union.

I'd imagine a corrollary to this policy would be issued, so as to include the PRC and Venezuela in the matter.

Speaking of Jack Kennedy, he isn't the best, but he did a good enough job in his short time in office.

seperation of powers was as much to limit the power of congress and keep a check on the rabble as it was to prevent the presidency turning into a kingship

As far as I'm concerned, Kennedy's term wasn't nearly short enough.
