I know some folks here are into edged weapons. I really like Indonesian and Philippino blades, so I wanted to share this website I stumbled upon. It's got some really neat items.

I collect WWII bayonets, knives etc. Swords are currently off the list due to storage problems, though I do have a WWI issue Infantry in the collection. Currently my carry of choice is

It opens beautifully smooth with the thumb stud - I have a Gerber made Applegate-Fairbairn but that has a bit of a knack to quick opening - has to be a certain angle or no go.

I had one of those. The last time I got pulled over the officer decided to keep it. Currently just carrying a cheap little Gerber Lariat.

Mine doesn't have the serrated portion on the blade. I prefer non-serrated for quicker, easier sharpening.

As far as I know I'm fairly safe with the Benchmade, legally, due to blade length etc.

I once had a cop in Bordentown, NJ (first place I ever got arrested) show me in writing one of the laws regarding weapons in New Jersey. It was written in such a way that the length of the blade didn't matter. If the cop decided it was an illegal weapon, they could charge you. That proved correct later when in Pennington, NJ I was charged with concealed weapon for having a karambit knife with a blade length of maybe two inches tops. It was downgraded to a misdemeanor charge in court.

Local or state police in Bordentown ? The local police used to give us a hard time going over our trucks at the auction there.

His posts are always fractured and bordering on random gibbrish. I don't think English is his first language. Never struck me as being nasty before though. Who knows what he actually meant to say.
