I've been browsing through the 'International Incidents' forum, and have been wondering (I am a newbie on NS) how do I get to have a nation to run on the forums (i.e. Germany, United States), which type of economy that I have and say that I have to establish trade routes (i.e. Uranium mining, trout fishing), and the other basic stuff that I need to know about. (This included delegations and diplomacy and war. Like I said all the stuff.) ^.^

The Earths are the best way. They're called 'Alternate Earths' usually, and you can set one up, but it's best to simply join one. If you can't find one, simple type in 'Alternate Earth' in searches for International Incidents.

I am a little confused to which Earth I should join since I am looking for an active, and modern Earth. ^.^
And for recources do I just use my NS stuff?
Modern is modern. Today's technology. Most Earths dictate what time period they're set in.
