I'm talking, of course, about Hannity & Colmes. The other day I had Fox News on in the background (the screetching Fox News Alert has become like a soothing white noise for me...), when I noticed something about the Hannity & Colmes logo:

Did you catch it? Interesting choice of font and letter size, no? Subliminal messages, methinks...

You can't see it? Hannity has a big, bold, block-letter "H", which is tall and so thick that you can't see the back end of it. Colmes, on the other hand, has this wimpy little sliver of a "C", done in a fancy (read: "elitist liberal") font, which leans against -- no, is overshadowed by -- Hannity's half.

It reads like:

H & C

Fits their on-air roles rather nicely, doncha think?

actually, optical illusion. both letters are the same size. the only difference is that the colors are reversed.

or it can be that Hannity is being supported by Colmes.

Ah, come on, Rhaomi, don't tell me it took you THAT long to spot something so obvious? I thought you were smarter than that. :(

Okay, seriously, that's a bit of brilliant work on Hannity's part. Of course, it can't make up for a dreary, boring, horrifyingly moronic host of an equally terrible show, but you gotta give him props for the nice design.

Hey, don't look at me! It took Ruffy a little prodding to get it too... :p

Only proves how shallow and false it really is, doesn't it?

Initially, I thought you meant Hunters & Collectors.

actually, it proves that people will see and hear what they want to hear and not what they are actually seeing/listening to.

Which is yet another metaphor for the idiocy of Hannity, yah?

It's obvious that Hannity is the giver and Colmes is the receiver.
