She's the girl you always see
She's th egirl you never hear
She's the teacher' spet
She's Daddy's girl and Mommy's baby
Yet she's the preacher's greatest fear.
Wearing black and reading banned books
Talking on Nationstates and watching Jon Stewart
She knows the statistics but would never be one
She know where to get the stuff but would never get it
She knows the state's representatives but not her class's
She seems too crazy to be true.

She's the girl you always saw
She's the girl you never heard
Up until that fateful day when she raised her hand
and told the teacher, "that's not true"
The teacher sent her to the office
For speaking the truth.

She knows what they want to hear
But will never say it
Because she knows the truth.

Anyone else? :)

Ah twinkle toe-bumlick
Quadra-twat be true
Post me up
post me down
post me through
post me spam up me postbox.

Twinkly stars like twinkling sequins of twinkly plastic
twinkle in the twinkly sky.

Between the idea
and the action
lies the shadow

For thine is the power
for thine is the power
for thine is the power

This is the way the world ends
Not with a bang, but with a whimper.

You wear black? I like black. It looks good. Especially when men wear it. I like men who dress in black. I saw one while I was waiting to get home from school. He was attractive.

You post as if you really care
About the rights and wrongs
About the silk and lace thongs

You say you're a leftist
But I think you're a nazi fascist

Burn in hell you lot of lurkers
For I am he who pwns you in debate

I am the one
The only
The post whore
The liberal
The grammar nazi
The spammer

Go ahead
Report me to the mods
Take quality from thy name

But there is something I have
And you never will

Here's one I wrote for my tornado thread a while back. Its not great, but there are some decent lines.

As the sirens cry on like banshees,
Into the formidable sky,
And the discarded leaves of autumn,
Dance to the brothers that still live above,
Till the wind that gives them their steps,
Rips down more partners to join in the fray,
The trees begin to bow,
And the grass begins to wave,
As yet another player,
drops onto the green-laden stage.
An aerialist! While lacking in in grace,
Abound in presence and technique and strength,
Each step that she takes,
adds her kin to her lead,
and each note that she bellows,
eclipses each other voice.
she dips and she whirls and she spins and she stomps,
The landscape is brought to its knees,
And with her dance completed,
She leaves without a goodbye,
Just a whisper in the wind, and the casualties of art,
That lie in respect.
But of course, its all in my head,
As the sirens cry on like banshees
into the formidable sky.

This is the poem where I attempt to be emo
The poem where I find new ways to say life sucks
And try to find the meaning of life while
Talkign of self-mutilation

Well, here goes.
It's gonna suck.
Don't say I didn't warn you.

My parents think I have a problem
Just because I wear tight dark clothes
And choose to be alone
Scratches on my wrist...

Gah! Screw it!
I'll just leave it to the emo kids.
Life is a cold hell.

You gotta be crazy, you gotta have a real need
You gotta sleep on your toes, and when you're on the street
You gotta be able to pick out the easy meat with your eyes closed
And then moving in silently, down wind and out of sight
You gotta strike when the moment is right without thinking.

And after a while, you can work on points for style
Like the club tie, and the firm handshake
A certain look in the eye, and an easy smile
You have to be trusted by the people that you lie to
So that when they turn their backs on you
You'll get the chance to put the knife in.

You gotta keep one eye looking over your shoulder
You know it's going to get harder, and harder, and harder as you get older
And in the end you'll pack up, fly down south
Hide your head in the sand
Just another sad old man
All alone and dying of cancer.

And when you loose control, you'll reap the harvest you have sown
And as the fear grows, the bad blood slows and turns to stone
And it's too late to loose the weight you used to need to throw around
So have a good drown, as you go down, all alone
Dragged down by the stone.

I gotta admit that I'm a little bit confused
Sometimes it seems to me as if I'm just being used
Gotta stay awake, gotta try and shake off this creeping malaise
If I don't stand my own ground, how can I find my way out of this maze?

Deaf, dumb, and blind, you just keep on pretending
That everyone's expendable and no-one has a real friend
And it seems to you the thing to do would be to isolate the winner
And everything's done under the sun
And you believe at heart, everyone's a coward.

Who was born in a house full of pain
Who was trained not to spit in the fan
Who was told what to do by the man
Who was broken by trained personnel
Who was fitted with collar and chain
Who was given a pat on the back
Who was breaking away from the pack
Who was only a stranger at home
Who was ground down in the end
Who was found dead on the phone
Who was dragged down by the stone.

Who was dragged down by the stone.

I don't know why. I just wanted to post that.

Night Driving

The whirring purr of an engine trusted,
vessel of steel is my only lifeline,
Speed which defied the past of man,
A moving fortess cast precariously,
Swimming in the sea of other landborne ships.
The light of the city creates a world,
unseen in the day, uncast in the play,
Of standard human interaction,
The flash of green the flash of red,
Defines my every thought and move,
The warm evening wind whips through my hair,
and dotted white line continue on,
into the night.

2 Revolution ones:

The Ancient halls and stone erections, bid the power call,
But not for the benefit of those long lost, for whom it exists at all.
Like the vaccum nature so abhors, the control concentrates to the few,
Those whose whims and perverse ambitions abhor what is true.

The sleeping beast of the human race, watches with apathetic eyes,
Yet the tresspass on the many by the few, is reason enough to rise.
Time moves on in a familiar pace, borne of the fear of anew,
And yet, as the tresspass extends, the calm is thrown askew.

The fiercest weapons of human nature, "emotion & a cause",
beget the rise of the forgotten whim, to correct the fatal flaws.
Awake and rising! A dragon bellows, feet planted on the ground,
Amidst the chaos, mixed with fate, A new destiny is found.

-------------------------------------------

The millenium failed, a destiny delayed,
The pause of progress is the price to be paid.
The people thought living in fear, would make them safe,
While the edifice of humanity continues to chafe.

This is the dawning of a new kind of rage,
A docile beast has ripped open its cage.
The phantoms of the past, perform on the stage,
as the ancient annals of history turn a new page.

With a fury unmatched, the passion will run,
Like a coming hurricane, is a revolution begun.
The shakeup the shakedown, the brilliance of steel,
Maybe this time they wont, forget how they feel.

The collapse of an order, rotted by age,
Follows the end of an era, and the imposing "sage".
The power of oppression, is no longer a tool,
The will of the people replaces that of the fool,

The past surrendered so much, they died for a dream,
Their sacrifice made pointless, by a greedy eyes gleam.
But hope cannot die, just wait in the dark,
Like a pen above parchment, awaiting the next mark.
