I just found out that Man of the Year (where Robin Williams plays a Jon Stewartish comedian who runs for President... and wins) will not be releashed in the UK!

Curse you Colonials!
Curse you!

:p

Seriously though, anyone else ticked off?

That's ok, you'll just have to wait another 3 months before the next movie in which Robin Williams plays an oh-so-clever, yet adorably ignorant, jackass who can't go five minutes without trying to be glib.
Or you could just watch Patch Adams and replace the words "doctor", "medicine", and "hasn't been funny since the 80's" with "president", "politics", and "hasn't been funny since he quit cocaine", respectively.

You didn't like Live 2002? I've always thought that with a rare few exceptions, his talent is lost on the screen. He needs a stage and a mic to be at his best.

You mean you are going to miss another Robin Williams movie where Robin Williams acts like Robin Williams and clumisily incorporates Robin Williams' stand-up routine into the Robin Williams movie? Oh no!

His talent is lost at the hands of hollywood hacks who wouldn't know talent it if came dancing in naked on an elephant yelling "I am talent!" then proceeded to beat them to death with a talent shovel.
The ones who think there's only three type of comedy out there: Family, Gross-out teenage and Romantic.
Lord save us from comedy that doesn't insult our intelligence!
*end of rant*

Maybe they decided not to release in the UK, cause they afraid Tony Blair will take it seriously and start ringing up Robin Williams and asking him on how to run the country?
