If I don't actually do anything with my NationStates account but I come here and argue with you fruit loops everyday will my account eventually expire? :confused:

Yes.

As long as you actually hit the NS page and it loads up your nation, that counts as activity. If you go straight to the forums it'll consider you inactive and kill your nation.

Or every 60 days if it's put on vacation mode. The forum account will continue even if the nation is dead, though.

Yeah I do nothing with my nation, but I use the nationstates page as my homepage, so I have to go through it to come to the forums, and therefore don't lose my nation.:p

True, but what's he gonna do? Put it on vacation mode every couple of months? It's easier just to pop onto the NS site every couple of weeks or so. That way, it's more of a habit, and you're less likely to forget and say "Oh shite! I've gotta reset my vacation mode!" after a couple of months.

If your nation expires, you're always welcome to request it to be revived again through the Getting Help page, but don't make a habit of it. ;)
